These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Logical Reasoning Online, acting as the organizer of the Smarter India Logical Reasoning & Aptitude Scholarship 2025 (“Organizer”, “we”, “our”, “us”), and each participant (“Applicant”, “Participant”, “you”, “your”) who applies for or participates in the Scholarship Program.

By registering for or participating in the Scholarship, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with any additional rules or instructions published on the Scholarship’s official webpage (“Official Rules”).

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

1.1 “Organizer” means Logical Reasoning Online, the entity responsible for conducting and administering the Smarter India Logical Reasoning & Aptitude Scholarship 2025.

1.2 “Scholarship” means the merit-based competition titled “Smarter India Logical Reasoning & Aptitude Scholarship 2025,” which provides recognition, awards, and opportunities in accordance with these Terms.

1.3 “Website” means the official website at www.LogicalReasoningCourse.com/scholarship, including any subdomains used for registration, testing, interviews, or result publication.

1.4 “Rounds” means the four stages of the Scholarship selection process:

  • Round 1: Online Aptitude Test
  • Round 2: Advanced Online Aptitude Test
  • Shortlisting Interview: Virtual panel interview to determine finalists
  • Final Interview: Virtual panel interview with top candidates

1.5 “Awards” means the monetary prizes, recognition, certificates, and opportunities described in Section 6 of these Terms.

1.6 “TDS” means Tax Deducted at Source under the Income Tax Act, 1961.

1.7 “Participant” or “Applicant” means any individual who registers and takes part in the Scholarship.

1.8 “Public Rules” means explanatory guidelines on the Scholarship webpage that simplify these Terms for participants but do not override them.

2. Eligibility

The Scholarship is open to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:

  • Are Indian citizens at the time of registration;
  • Are aged 18 to 45 years as of the registration deadline;
  • Have completed the official registration process on the Website;
  • Are not employees, contractors, agents, or immediate family members of the Organizer.

2.2 The Scholarship is merit-based and is not contingent on the purchase of any product or service from the Organizer.

2.3 The Organizer reserves the right to request documentary proof of eligibility (e.g., government-issued ID, age proof) and to disqualify any Participant failing to provide proof within 7 days of request.

2.4 By registering, Participants acknowledge that participation is voluntary, and they waive all rights to sue, claim damages, or seek compensation from the Organizer beyond the awarded scholarship benefits described in Section 6.

3. Registration

3.1 Registration will remain open until April 5, 2026, via the Website.

3.2 Each Participant must submit accurate and complete details in the registration form. False, misleading, or incomplete entries will be disqualified.

3.3 Only one registration per individual is permitted. Multiple entries, entries under different names, or the use of false identities will lead to permanent disqualification.

3.4 Registration timestamps will be automatically recorded and may be used for tie-breaking purposes as outlined in Section 5.

3.5 The Organizer is not responsible for technical errors, internet failures, or late/incomplete entries. Participants are solely responsible for ensuring successful registration before the deadline.

4. Scholarship Process

4.1 Round 1 – Online Aptitude Test

  • Scheduled for April 18, 2026.
  • Duration: 60 minutes.
  • Conducted exclusively on the Website.
  • Covers logical reasoning and analytical ability.
  • The top 30% of scorers (on a percentile basis) will progress to Round 2.

4.2 Round 2 – Advanced Online Aptitude Test

  • Scheduled for April 25, 2026.
  • Duration: 60 minutes.
  • Conducted exclusively on the Website.
  • Only the top 50 scorers (on a percentile basis) will advance to the Shortlisting Interview.

4.3 Shortlisting Interview (Virtual Panel Interview)

  • Scheduled for May 2, 2026.
  • Conducted virtually (e.g., Zoom or equivalent).
  • Participants will be interviewed by a panel appointed by the Organizer.
  • Scores will be based on a 95% panel evaluation and 5% public voting.
  • The six finalists selected (at the Organizer’s discretion) will advance to the Final Interview.

4.4 Final Interview (Virtual Panel Interview)

  • Scheduled for May 16, 2026.
  • Conducted virtually with the expert panel.
  • Scores will be weighted 95% panel evaluation and 5% public voting.

4.5 Public Voting

  • Voting will be conducted online through the Website or the Organizer’s official channel.
  • The Organizer will employ reasonable measures to minimize fraudulent voting; however, votes are inherently outside the Organizer’s complete control, and the Organizer disclaims liability for manipulation, technical errors, or third-party misconduct.
  • The Organizer’s determination of voting results shall be final and binding.

4.6 Organizer’s Discretion

  • The Organizer reserves the sole right to:
    (a) modify test dates, durations, or formats;
    (b) substitute interview platforms;
    (c) reduce or expand the number of Participants advancing to each round.
  • Such changes may be made without prior notice if required for fairness, technical feasibility, or administrative necessity.

5. Scoring, Tie-Breakers & Results

5.1 Advancement is determined solely by relative performance (percentile-based ranking) in each round. There is no fixed minimum score or cutoff.

5.2 Tie-breakers shall be applied strictly in the following order:
(a) Lesser time taken to complete the test;
(b) Earlier registration timestamp.

5.3 Results of each round will be published on the Website and communicated via the registered email address of Participants.

5.4 The Organizer’s decision regarding scoring, rankings, and advancement is final, binding, and non-appealable.

5.5 The Organizer reserves the right to withhold or adjust results if irregularities, cheating, or technical anomalies are detected.

6. Awards & Benefits

6.1 Scholarship Awards (subject to verification and compliance):

  • Top Scholar (1 winner): ₹1,00,000 + 3-Day Career Exposure Visit to U.S. universities and innovation hubs (travel support limited to local stay and campus access; flights, visas, meals, and other expenses are the responsibility of the winner).
  • Second & Third Place (2 winners): ₹50,000 each + Virtual international project with global researchers, including a digital recommendation letter.
  • Merit Awards (20 winners): ₹10,000 each.
  • Completion Certificate: Awarded to all participants who successfully complete Round 2, useful for job applications, placements, and professional profiles.

6.2 Non-Cash Recognition:

  • Winners may be featured on the Website, in press releases, and in Organizer’s promotional material.
  • Participants consent to the Organizer using their name, likeness, and achievements for promotional purposes without additional compensation, subject to applicable law.

6.3 Award Disclaimers:

  • Awards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-redeemable for cash equivalents except as expressly provided.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to substitute an award (in whole or in part) with another of equal or greater value if circumstances require.
  • In case a Participant is unable or unwilling to avail a non-cash opportunity (e.g., U.S. visit or virtual project), the cash component remains payable, but the opportunity is deemed forfeited without replacement.

6.4 Finality of Awards:
The Organizer’s decision on award recipients is final and binding. Participants acknowledge that awards are a privilege and recognition of merit, not an entitlement.

7. Winner Verification

7.1 Verification Requirement
All provisional winners are subject to eligibility and compliance verification by the Organizer.

7.2 Mandatory Documentation
Winners must provide, within 7 calendar days of request:

  • Valid government-issued photo identification (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, or equivalent);
  • Proof of Indian citizenship (if not already evident in ID);
  • Any additional documentation reasonably required by the Organizer for verification.

7.3 Non-Compliance
Failure to provide requested documentation within the stipulated timeframe will result in immediate forfeiture of the award, which may then be reassigned at the Organizer’s discretion.

7.4 Organizer’s Authority
The Organizer’s determination of a Participant’s eligibility and compliance is final, binding, and non-contestable.

8. Disqualification

8.1 Grounds for Immediate Disqualification include (but are not limited to):
(a) Submitting false, incomplete, or misleading information at any stage;
(b) Engaging in cheating, plagiarism, impersonation, or use of unauthorized assistance/software;
(c) Attempting to manipulate test results, interview outcomes, or public voting through fraudulent or unfair means;
(d) Using multiple registrations, false identities, VPNs, or proxy servers to gain an advantage;
(e) Engaging in abusive, threatening, or disruptive behavior toward the Organizer, panelists, or other Participants;
(f) Any violation of these Terms, the Official Rules, or applicable laws.

8.2 No Appeal
Disqualification decisions are final, binding, and not subject to appeal or reconsideration.

8.3 Post-Award Disqualification
If disqualification is discovered after an award has been announced, the Organizer reserves the right to revoke the award, demand return of funds, and reassign the award at its discretion.

9. Intellectual Property & Publicity Rights

9.1 Ownership
All content, questions, exams, interviews, and materials associated with the Scholarship (collectively, “Scholarship Materials”) are the exclusive property of the Organizer or its licensors.

9.2 Restrictions
Participants are expressly prohibited from:

  • Copying, distributing, photographing, recording, or publishing Scholarship Materials;
  • Sharing exam questions or interview prompts, whether in whole or in part;
  • Using the Organizer’s intellectual property (logos, trademarks, course content, etc.) without prior written consent.

9.3 Publicity Consent
By participating, Participants grant the Organizer a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use their name, likeness, voice, city, achievements, and performance in connection with the Scholarship for marketing, promotion, and publicity purposes, in any media (including digital, print, and broadcast), without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

9.4 Moral Rights Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Participants waive any moral rights they may have in connection with the Organizer’s use of their submissions, interviews, or performance materials.

10. Data Privacy & Communications

10.1 Collection of Data
The Organizer will collect and process personal data (including but not limited to name, age, email address, phone number, test responses, and interview recordings) solely for purposes of administering the Scholarship.

10.2 Use of Data
Personal data may be used for:
(a) Registration, test administration, interviews, and result announcements;
(b) Verification of eligibility and fraud detection;
(c) Processing of scholarship awards;
(d) Future communications relating to Organizer’s educational courses, events, or opportunities, unless Participants opt out.

10.3 Data Protection
All data will be handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws in India. The Organizer will take commercially reasonable measures to safeguard personal information but does not guarantee absolute security against cyberattacks, data theft, or third-party breaches.

10.4 Data Sharing
The Organizer may share personal data with trusted third-party service providers (e.g., testing platforms, email providers, payment processors) strictly for Scholarship administration.

10.5 Consent to Communication
By registering, Participants consent to receive communications (via email, SMS, or phone) related to the Scholarship and future updates from the Organizer. Participants may opt out of marketing-related communication at any time.

11. Liability Limitation

11.1 Voluntary Participation
Participation in the Scholarship is entirely voluntary. By registering, Participants acknowledge that they do so at their own risk.

11.2 No Guarantees
The Organizer does not guarantee any outcome, benefit, or future opportunity beyond what is explicitly stated in the Official Rules.

11.3 Exclusion of Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organizer, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, or affiliates shall not be liable for any:
(a) Direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages;
(b) Loss of income, employment, opportunities, or reputation;
(c) Technical failures, server outages, internet disruptions, or data loss;
(d) Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in test questions, results, or communications;
(e) Acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other force majeure events.

11.4 Liability Cap
In any case, the Organizer’s total liability to any Participant shall not exceed the monetary value of the Scholarship award actually received by that Participant.

11.5 No Right to Sue
By participating, Participants expressly waive and release any right to initiate or join class actions, collective proceedings, or individual lawsuits against the Organizer in relation to the Scholarship.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

12.1 Applicable Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Goa, India.

12.2 Exclusive Jurisdiction
All disputes arising from or in connection with the Scholarship shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Goa, India.

12.3 Mandatory Arbitration Clause
As a condition of participation, Participants agree that any dispute or claim shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Goa, India, conducted under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

12.4 Class Action Waiver
Participants agree not to participate in any class, collective, or representative action against the Organizer. Only individual claims may be pursued.

12.5 Finality of Decisions
All decisions by the Organizer regarding rules, scoring, eligibility, disqualification, or awards are final and binding, and not subject to review or appeal in any court or tribunal.

13. Amendments

The Organizer reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Scholarship or these Terms at any time without prior notice, provided such changes are not applied retroactively in a manner that unfairly disadvantages already-qualified Participants.
